After owning a seaside villa at Kiawah Island, SC, from 1981 to 1997, I have written two books, dozens of articles, and speak on the opportunities of buying vacation property.
My books, "Road Map to Your Vacation Property Dream," and "Maximize Your Resort Property Investmnet," have been featured editorially in Barron's, Business Week, MONEY magazine, SmartMoney magazine, USA TODAY, Kiplinger's Personal Finance newsletter, and other publications.
I have served as a speaker at the National Association of Realtors convention in Hawaii, at Home & Garden shows, Live South shows, developer shows, and real estate investiment clubs. I have been on TV and radio shows to discuss vacation properties and second homes.
